I have written of volleyball with da Banana Boyz a few times. Volleyball is itself the premiere queer event on Big Island, the yearly fundraiser adds an after dark party with fire dancers, food, music, and the Miss Big Girl contest, along with a LOT of sillyness, fun and play. The funds go directly to support upgrades at the volleyball and party space at the Isle of You farm.
