Tolver's Modification

For many years, since I took the name Reese, the common joke has often been that Tolver is Reese's Piece. Tolver spent many years contemplating having the image of a peanut butter cup tatooed to his back. I am flattered.
(the release form)Reese's Piece.
More than family, friends, or fortune - I have always loved Reese; from the night I first saw him. I remember it clearly.: "You don't want to fall in love with me." "I've already fallen and I'm in no hurry to get back up." We went home together that first night and have not been apart more than a month's worth of days in the 21 years since.
I have always expressed my love for Reese, in small ways with a surprise flower or rock, and in big ways with our collars and Marriage Ceremonies, and still always with a sincere 'Luvz' uttered every chance I get. For the last 10 years I have talked about getting a peanut butter cup tattoo on my back to show the world that I was "Reese's Piece." But a tattoo is a mark on the body, a filter between the outside world and a person, something that alters the way a body's electromagnetic field interacts with all the other fields around it. So I just could never bring myself to do it. And then Reese idly suggested that I might brand myself instead, it would be less invasive than a tattoo yet just as meaningful. Well I jumped on that suggestion and within a month I was getting my brand.
Reese worked on the concept of what the design should be and I did the Internet research to find the best technique for the brand. This is where I found Steve Haworth, http://www.stevehaworth.com/, the inventor of the Electro-Cardial Branding Technique - A process whereby an electrical current is passed through the body in a controlled manner so as to vaporize specific points of flesh. This results in a finely detailed branding that is most visible close up and barely noticeable at a distance. So I went to go ask dad if he knew of him. Dad has had a bit of work done on him and I and thought he might have heard of Steve. As it turns out they are good friends, Steve lives in Phoenix, Dad would be in Phoenix for part of his upcoming trip, and that I should join Dad there to go see Steve for my brand. Talk about the universe presenting me with outrageous fortune, some would call it fate. I HAD to do it.
I chose Steve for the depth of his skill in varying disciplines of body modification. As a result I am very happy with the branding that I received, and will be proud to display it to the world. The procedure itself was a rather short 6 mins, as compared to the hour and a half we spent before hand working on the design and discussing the procedure. A very professional process, held in a comfortable casual manner. We paid him twice his asking price, and it was money well spent. I do recommend him for anybody considering body modification, as he is a talented and skilled artist.
Dad documented the procedure for posterity, so enjoy these images.
