The new-to-us "Puppy", Lakshmi
A friend of the community (although someone who we did not know at all) had come to the end of his time, with cancer as his exit strategy. Notice went out of need for a home for all of his animals; cats, dogs and chickens, many very old. We took on the 15 year old, toy poodle, Lakshmi.
Lakshmi is an old girl, but she's feisty. She's blind from a cataract in one eye, out of focus from a lesser one in the other, but she gets around pretty well except for running into the screen door.
