They're searching our mail...
Packages addressed to the post office box where we are lucky enough to receive our mail, are being delayed, opened, searched, and very poorly resealed, before we get them. We received a gift from one of our mainland friends, only to find the envelope usealed at the factory sealed edges, the inner bubble-wrap ripped, and dirty fingerprints on the included note (which included a reference to an extra gift hidden within the first, that had obviously been rifled.) I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that the gift itself was intact.Seems we ordered some protea seed from a dealer in South Africa, without the proper certification, about a month back. It was "seized and destroyed." Since then, I guess everything else will be searched.
sigh... ah freedom! link | posted by Reese at 10:48 PM
